    About the firm

Specialist M&A advisors for building services and healthcare owners

DealFlowAgent advises owners selling businesses valued between £500K and £100M. We run confidential, competitive sale processes backed by a proprietary network of more than 13,000 acquirers, so owners negotiate with several serious buyers rather than accepting the first approach that lands.

Senior advisors handle every mandate. Sector focus, direct buyer relationships and our own research tools replace the listing-and-waiting model most owners are offered.

Where our buyers and sellers sit

    Why we exist

Most owners sell once. The buyer across the table has done it many times. That imbalance costs sellers real money, usually through an unchallenged first offer or a structure that pushes value into an earn-out nobody defends.

We give owners of £500K to £100M businesses the same standard of representation that mid-market private equity takes for granted.

    How we work

Human-led, intelligence-led. Senior advisors own the relationship and the negotiation. Our research tools map the acquirer universe, rank buyers on fit and capability, and surface live intent before we make an approach.

The result is a shorter list of better-qualified buyers and a process that keeps competitive pressure on price from first contact to completion.

    What we actually do

Three phases, one objective: the highest defensible price on terms you can live with.

    Phase 1

    Position and prepare

We build the equity story, normalise earnings and remove the issues that buyers use to discount price before your business reaches the market.

    Phase 2

    Run a competitive process

We approach a ranked list of trade, private equity and strategic acquirers from our network so you negotiate with several parties, not one.

    Phase 3

    Hold value to completion

We manage diligence, deal structure and the earn-out mechanics so the headline number survives to the wire transfer.

Martin spent over a decade in senior leadership at Mitie, latterly as Industry Liaison Director for its fire and security division, helping scale the business past £500m in revenue and playing a role in the £366m acquisition of Marlowe plc, which created one of the UK's largest compliance, fire and security services groups. He joined DealFlowAgent because owners in these sectors deserve a genuine sector-specialist advisor across valuation, business optimisation and buyer access. Key-person dependency is one of the two most common reasons a sale collapses, and Nick fixes it at source.

    Frequently asked questions

    Who is DealFlowAgent?

DealFlowAgent is a specialist M&A advisory firm for owners of building services, facilities management and healthcare businesses. We advise on sales, mergers and acquisitions typically valued between £500K and £100M across the UK and US. Our team has worked on 22 transactions and maintains a proprietary network of over 13,000 acquirers.

What sectors does DealFlowAgent specialise in?

We focus on building services and facilities management, including fire and life safety, HVAC and mechanical, electrical services, security systems, and compliance, testing and inspection, alongside healthcare services. Sector focus means we know the acquirers, the multiples and the diligence questions in advance.

    Who is behind DealFlowAgent?

The firm was founded by Joe Lewin, who previously built and sold his first company. The advisory bench includes a Head of M&A joining from the UK's largest M&A advisory firm, owned by K3 Capital, and senior industry specialists such as Martin Watson in building services and facilities management. Lumaca Capital, led by Mel Ragnauth and David Battey, are investors and board members.

How is DealFlowAgent different from a traditional broker?

Brokers list a business and wait. We run an intelligence-led process: we research the acquirer universe, approach buyers directly and create competitive tension. Owners work with senior advisors throughout, supported by our own research tools rather than a junior analyst pool.

    Is my enquiry confidential?

Yes. No business is named, described or approached without your written approval. Buyers see an anonymised profile first, and staff, customers and competitors learn nothing until you decide the time is right.

    Where is DealFlowAgent based?

We operate across the UK and US. You can reach the team on +44 20 7293 0327 in the UK and +1 (447) 837-9720 in the US, or book a confidential call online.
